    Once approved, you'll get your own referral link and discount code. Share it with classmates, friends, followers, or anyone you think would benefit from Typical PT. They'll save 10% on digital products and 5% on physical products, and you'll earn commission when they purchase.

  3. Get paid

    Get paid in cash through PayPal every month. Earnings are held for 30 days so refunds can settle, then paid out once your balance passes $50.

Questions before you apply

Do I need a big following?

No. Our best affiliates are usually students who just passed and have a class group chat, not influencers with huge audiences. What matters is that people trust your opinion about the NPTE.

When and how do I get paid?

By PayPal, monthly, once your balance passes $50. Earnings are held for 30 days after the sale so returns can settle first. US affiliates paid $600 or more in a year will need to complete a W-9 — you can do that from your affiliate dashboard.

What happens if someone I referred asks for a refund?

The commission for that order is reversed. It's the one thing we can't pay out on, and it's why there's a 30-day hold before payout.

Do I have to say that I'm an affiliate?

Yes, and this one isn't optional. FTC rules require a clear disclosure — #ad or #affiliate visible in the post itself, not hidden behind a "more" link. Please also don't describe Typical PT as affiliated with or endorsed by the FSBPT, and don't suggest our materials contain real exam questions.

Can I run paid ads on the Typical PT name?

No. Bidding on our brand name or on NPTE-related search terms isn't allowed, and it's grounds for removal from the program. Promote to your own audience instead — that's where you add real value.
